Passengers of long-distance trains of the Federal Passenger Company (FPC) in 2023 handed over 400 kilograms of plastic lids as part of the "Kind Lids" project. The company joined the project at the end of 2022.
The plastic lids will be recycled at the TotalCycle plant in Tver (part of the EcoPartners group), the largest plastic packaging waste recycling complex in Russia.

Representatives of JSC FPC paid a working visit to the enterprise. They familiarized themselves with the production complex, visited an eco-museum and a workshop for manufacturing products from recycled plastic.
"The Federal Passenger Company pays great attention to the "green" agenda," said Mikhail Poyarkov, Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of JSC FPC. - We supported the Kind Lids project because we share the values of the project, which has an important environmental and social focus. Over the past year, passengers and FPC employees have been actively involved in collecting plastic, so we plan to develop this project further.
"The Dobrye Lids project is actively growing and developing. Over the past few years, a large number of cities and partners have joined us. The support of such a large company as JSC FPC is very important for us. It is not only support for the collection of plastic, but also information support for the project," said Anna Vinogradova, Vice President of the Volunteers for Orphans Charitable Foundation.
The proceeds from the plastic collection will be transferred to the account of the organizer of the "Kind Lids" project - the charitable foundation "Volunteers for Orphans". They will be used to help the Foundation's beneficiaries.

Plastic lids can be donated today in 8 trains of the Federal Passenger Company. Details on which lids are suitable can be found on the information posters placed near the collection containers.
"We were among the first to support the Good Lids project more than 7 years ago. During that time, 553 tons of plastic lids have found a second life at our plant. This is high quality recyclable material that, when recycled, is used to make new products such as benches, coat hangers and garden tools. We are pleased that more sources of plastic collection are becoming available, and now the campaign is available on trains," said German Popov, CEO of TotalCycle.
TotalCycle (formerly TZVP) and EcoTechnologies - one of the first partners and the largest recycler of Kind Lids.

Federal Passenger Company (JSC FPC) is the national long-distance railway company. Its trains carry hundreds of thousands of passengers every day. The FPC fleet includes more than 16 thousand coaches of various categories: from saloon coaches to luxury coaches. There are also restaurant and bistro cars. Modern coaches are equipped with shower cabins, wireless charging, sensor faucets, etc.

TotalCycle is the only complex in Russia that combines the largest plastic packaging recycling plant (40 thousand tons per year), public education and information spaces (ZERO Museum, craft workshop and eco-lecture hall) and a sustainable packaging laboratory. Launched in 2023 by EcoPartners Group in strategic partnership with SIBUR and with the participation of the EcoTechnologies team on the industrial site of the Tver Secondary Polymers Plant (TSPP), which has been recycling waste since 2005.

The "Volunteers for Orphans" charity fund was established in 2007. The All-Russian environmental and charitable volunteer project "Kind Caps" has been implemented since 2016. It has a dual goal: to make the world cleaner and to help children who need support.
