Recycling Plant 2021

We will recycle "Kind Caps" into ramps

The Perekrestok retail chain, the Henkel company and the EcoPartners group of companies together with the Volunteers to Help Orphans Charitable Foundation supported the Kind Caps project.

Boxes for collecting caps in the form of giant bottles were installed in 343 supermarkets of the chain in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as Volgograd, Samara, Tver and Tula.

Until the end of 2021, you can hand over recyclable materials inside them and get a discount on Henkel products. To do this, you need to scan the QR code on the box, follow it to a special landing page of the project, where an individual QR code will be generated. It must be presented at the checkout along with the Perekrestok Club card and receive a discount on the Fa and Schauma brands produced by Henkel.

The collected caps will be sent to our Tver Polymer Recycling Plant. The funds received from the sale of processed raw materials will be transferred to the Volunteers to Help Orphans Fund to help children with special needs - the wards of the fund. Recycled caps are used in street ramps. Already this summer, the ramps will be installed at the Perekrestok stores.

“To make one seven-meter ramp, it is necessary to collect and recycle 18,550 caps,” says Konstantin Rzayev, Managing Partner of EcoPartners Group. - The metal main structure of such a ramp is covered with a special board that contains up to 30% recycled plastic. As part of the project, we plan to collect about 100,000 caps and make 5 ramps for Perekrestok this year. "
