Olga Stadnik explained for the Solid Waste magazine which packaging will become the cheapest one

Solid Waste magazine published the article "Packaging in ROP: competition between materials until 2027". This is the conclusion of a series of articles written for the magazine by Olga Stadnik, head of the EcoTechLab research center.
Previously, Olga shared a recycler’s view of ROP and analyzed the ROP converter in the articles "Recycling Economics: A Polymer Recycler’s View in 2024" and "Recycling Economics — 2024: Accounting for Polymer Waste in ROP".

The new article examines the collection rates through 2027 and whether they have met recyclers' expectations:
"The level of prime rates by 2027, contrary to the values vividly discussed at the end of 2023, turned out to be not so high compared to the current level."
