Olga Stadnik presented the TotalCycle case study at a forum on circular economy in the Arctic

Olga Stadnik, Deputy General Director for Regulatory Affairs at EcoPartners Group and Head of the EcoTechLab Research Center, participated in the forum "Cyclic Economy Projects in the Arctic-2024". The event took place on May 22-23 in Norilsk and its participants evaluated the potential of environmental initiatives in the Arctic zone.
Olga Stadnik was invited to share EcoPartners' experience in waste recycling, which spans more than 19 years, as well as the case of the launch of the new TotalCycle facility, which opened in 2023.

TotalCycle's three facilities house a total of seven plastic packaging recycling lines. The latest PET bottle recycling line embodies all the achievements of engineers over many years of operation of the old plant (Tver Secondary Plastics Plant). The bottle pre-washing section is unique and the longest of all installed in Russia, which determines the success of further bottle sorting and, as a result, the quality of finished PET flakes.
Other topics of the forum "Projects of the Circular Economy in the Arctic - 2024" were the rules of handling secondary resources, federal requirements for waste management, and the realization of a closed-loop economy. The participants included representatives of the Norilsk city administration, the Norilsk Nickel Mining and Metallurgical Company, Ecoline, and others.
