Development of sneakers with recycled gum Dirol

Dirol launched a large-scale project to support responsible consumption, Dirol Don’t Drop. The company jointly by the American designer Shane Gonzalez of Midnight Studios and the popular Russian shoestylist Maggi created sneakers with the addition of recycled gum.

The sole of the sneakers is made with the addition of recycled bubble gum. In addition to the sole from «gum» polymer, it is possible to make pens, handbags for telephones, notebooks, and many other daily objects.

Special boxes for the gathering gum were installed on the territory of design-plant «Flacon». The gathering took place until September 20th. Company EcoTechnologies helped the project with recycling gum.
