VK and INSTASAMKA collected 6 tons of plastic for recycling

The company "EcoTechnologies", which acted as an environmental partner, summarized the results of the first stage of the project. The plastic collection campaign lasted two months. Eco-centers in seven Russian cities took part in it and a total of 5877 kg of plastic was collected for recycling:

• 2406 kg in Moscow (Eco-center "Sobreka");
• 1025 kg in Nizhny Novgorod ("RazDelno");
• 970 kg in Tomsk ("Chisty Mir");
• 268 kg in Ekaterinburg ("#NEMUSEYMUSORA");
• 302 kg in Saratov ("Ecologizer");
• 689 kg in Krasnodar ("Clean Environment");
• 217 kg in Novosibirsk ("Bee").

Eco-centers accepted packaging and products made of polypropylene marked with 5 PP — containers, disposable dishes, drinking tubes, lens boxes, buckets, toys and more. These small plastic items are not collected en masse, although they have good recycling potential.

The second phase of the Rich Recycle campaign is the launch of a collection of recycled plastic accessories from INSTASAMKA. Products include key chains, card holders, shoppers, mirrors and even a stool!

On September 1, online presales started on the Recycle Object website. From September 7, the collection will be available offline in VK Store and also online. The quantity is limited, have time to buy!
